'The Giver"
My opinion of this story is that its a little creepy. I'm remarkably drawn to the story however, I want to keep reading it. It creates a suspenseful feeling where you just cant stop reading it. I just think its weird how there's a community and there's rules and children are being handed out by application.
That last part where you say "handed out by application" sums the process up pretty well when it comes to having a child in their society.
